Orkney Tourist Guides Association

I was born in Orkney and have lived here all my life being very proud to call myself an Orcadian. I am a Scottish Tourist Guiding Association Green Badge accredited tourist guide and am experienced in accompanying visitors to the exciting sites around Orkney.  During my tours you will explore the history over the past 5000 years, enjoy the scenery, wildlife, culture and unique atmosphere culminating in an exceptional Orkney experience.

My spare time is spent with my family, my dogs, horse riding and amateur bird watching amongst many other interests.

Orkney is a fabulous place to live and visit, if you are planning to holiday in Orkney then I would be proud and delighted to share my local knowledge of the natural and cultural history and importantly my love for this amazing place.   I am not only a ‘driver guide’ with my own comfortable minibus accommodating up to 8 people, I am also available as a ‘step on guide’ to join you in your own vehicle, be it a family car or a 50-seat coach!  For the larger groups I can arrange the local hire of a high-quality coach.
