I have been working in tourism since I was 18 firstly working within the Heart of Neolithic Orkney at Maeshowe then as a visitor service assistant at Visit Scotland and most recently for a Shore Excursion Company. In 2018 I graduated from Dundee with an LLB Hons in Law and moved back to Orkney. I live in Tankerness in the East Mainland of Orkney with my partner a keen home brewer and boatman, my dog – Harvey, our chickens and barn cats.

I am a qualified STGA Accredited Green Badge Orkney Guide which has enabled me to pursue my passion of showing guests around the Islands which I know and love. I now collaborate at Orkney Island Tours with another STGA Accredited Green Badge guide – Nic Thake and we offer half day and full day tours as a step on guide, organised driver and guide vehicle tours for any size of party and have small group tour offers throughout the year all details of which can be found on our website.

I also collaborate on Island Smart – A shore Excursion services company which can provide shore excursion services to any size of cruise ship or private yacht visiting Orkney.

I am passionate about providing unique experiences, exploring both the must see in Orkney and the off the beaten track secrets while allowing my guests to soak up the fantastic nature, culture and uniqueness of Orkney. My interests centre around the history of Orkney – Neolithic & Viking, Crafts and Cultures and exploring the nature and wildlife Orkney has to offer. I also love adventures – and am a keen wild swimmer, walker and all things outdoors.
