Tourist Guiding Fees

OTGA tourist guides offer a wide variety of services and tours. All guides are self-employed, and some are VAT registered. It is therefore unrealistic for OTGA to set tour guiding fees. These should always be arranged with your tour guide prior to your tour.

Driver Guiding

Driver guiding fees vary dependent on the operator, please negotiate with the guide.

Responsibilities

All baggage, personal belongings and personal security are at all times the responsibility of clients. We strongly advise that you take out insurance at the time of booking to guard against damage or loss to personal property or personal injury.

Conditions

On a full day lasting more than eight hours a supplementary payment for each additional hour is payable. On a half day, lasting more than four hours or ending after 1pm, a supplementary payment is levied for each additional hour.

Cancellations

Half and Full day tours

• If less than seven days notice of cancellation is given - 50 per cent of the fees is payable.
• If less than 48 hours notice of cancellation - the full fee is payable.
• Extended tours require 28 days notice or such other time as agreed at the time of the booking.

Please note that these are guidelines and all fees and conditions should be agreed between the client and the guide before commencement of the contract.

We strongly advise that clients take out insurance at the time of booking to guard against cancellation.
