I am a Blue Badge guide who qualified in 1993. I have been guiding all over Scotland, including Orkney and Shetland since then. From 2001 I have been holidaying in Orkney for up to six weeks each summer and keep up with Orkney happenings via Orkney news websites at other times of the year. I have done cruise ship work while up on holiday the last few years. My main guiding work is in German but I do guide in English too. I do walking tours also as part of my work as well as work on coaches or on sites.

My other work is as a tutor in Scottish History at Glasgow University so the historic and archaeological sites of Orkney are of particular interest to me. I am a member of the local archaeological society in Orkney.

Please note:- Since I am only resident in Orkney in August and sometimes late July or early September my availability is limited.
