My name is Judy O’Connor and I have lived in Orkney for well over 30 years. I am a fully qualified guide, a member of the Orkney Tour Guide Association and affiliated to the Scottish Tour Guide Association.

We are lucky in having such an abundance of archaeological wonders in Orkney but we also have a tremendous wealth of culture and history and I am able to give an enthusiastic insight into the joys of everyday life in these beautiful islands. Orkney has such a lot to offer – the ever changing landscape and seascapes, archaeology, flora, fauna, our Norse heritage and the importance of Scapa Flow during two world wars. There are craft trails to follow, local food and drink to try and a visit to one of the outer islands can be most rewarding.

I am a step on guide so whether you are travelling by coach, minibus or car I could enhance your visit to Orkney. My tours can be tailored to suit you interests and requirements and various ages. I would be very happy to work out an itinerary, book the sites for you and provide any local knowledge required.
